SHOT Show is one of the world's finest and largest firearms trade shows. It has been around since 1979, when it premiered in St. Louis Missouri, in front of a crowd of 5,600 people. Since then, the popularity has skyrocketed and over the past several years, SHOT Show has been averaging over 60,000 visitors per year. It has also been dubbed one of the “Top 25 Trade Shows in America”.

SHOT or “Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade” Show is an event that is only open to those in the firearms trade and to the press. Not to the general public, but luckily for members of USA Firearm Training, we are sending some of our own to the show to gather up information that our audience is curious about, as well as looking to find some good deals for our customers in the coming year.

About Craig Martin

Craig Martin grew up in the unincorporated town of Lewis, Wisconsin. From a young age, Craig was introduced to guns, as he was tasked with defending his backwood home’s wiring from a scourge of red squirrels.

Ever the animal lover, though; Craig couldn’t let these creatures die needlessly. So he would take his kills and leave them for the foxes, coyotes, and bears to eat at a deer feeder his grandfather built around their home.

His lifestyle made Craig understand that guns are a tool and ever since, has spread the word about how firearms are not a menace, like the red squirrel, but an item to help people. He instils this in every article he writes for USA Firearm Training.

In this video, we take you on a trip to USA Firearm Training's last trip to SHOT Show in order to give you a look at the type of incredible things being worked on in the firearms market and a taste of the type of impeccable work you're going to see from our coverage of this year's event.

For more information and to make sure you're keeping up with our coverage of SHOT Show, make sure to subscribe to USA Firearm Training's YouTube channel, as we will be rolling out several videos and interviews from our trip to SHOT Show, occurring from January 17th to January 20th in Las Vegas, NV.

Let us know in the comments below if there is anything you would like to see us take a look at during our visit, or if there is anyone attending the showcase you would like to hear us sit down and chat with!

Until later, everybody. Stay safe out there.
