The issues of open carry and/or printing and it’s disadvantages are limited. There may be a few exceptions to being seen with a gun, but there are more documented evidence by incarcerated bad guys who stated if they saw a gun on a citizen, whether printed or open, they would move along or return later. They don’t want a fight. The same applies to home invasion or any other target. They want easy and a fight would deter them. The fact is, most of these bad guys have no true intentions of killing anyone. The threat they use with a gun is for intimidation because they know if they actually killed someone, it’s life or death penalty. Whereas an armed robbery conviction has the possibility of parole and/or early release on good behavior.
