Those will concealed carry permits from Virginia received a little gift today. There are now three new states who have begun to honor the Virginia resident and or the Virginia non-resident permit.
Virginia Now Honors Permits From All States
In February of 2016 Virginia law makers struck a deal in the legislature that undid the attorney general’s decision while also allowing that effective July 1st 2016 Virginia would begin to honor permits from ALL other states. So congratulations to permit holders everywhere. We can now all carry concealed in Virginia.

South Carolina and Georgia Now Have Permit Reciprocity
On Friday something very unusual happened. South Carolina passed a law that was signed in by Gov. Nikki Haley and went into effect on Friday June 3rd. The law granted reciprocity to Georgia in South Carolina. South Carolina’s policy has been to only honor permits from states that have similar or higher training standards which did not include Georgia because Georgia does not require any training to obtain a permit.

West Virginia Now Has Constitutional Carry
