By Riley Bowman / December 11, 2017

This last week has been a busy one! The U.S. House passed H.R. 38 packaged together with the Fix NICS bill. One Hawaiian police department says they will not enforce the law where it comes to confiscating firearms from or charging owners that also use marijuana. One college cancels a speech by a 2nd Amendment activist deeming it as being “too controversial.” And we have 5 JUSTIFIED stories lined that you just gotta hear including the one where a female bystander saves the life of a cop by intervening with her own legally carried concealed handgun!

By Riley Bowman / December 9, 2017

It is an historic day with the passing of H.R. 38, The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017. Some have wondered if the “Fix NICS” bill was also included in that, and it indeed was. But the passed bill is not as bad as what we initially thought. Riley and Jacob have pored over the language in the bill and discuss what it means and its implications in today’s episode. Oh and we discuss the likelihood of it getting through the Senate.

Episode 179: People Couldn’t Believe The Blood Was Real!

By Riley Bowman / December 6, 2017

Today’s stories are a must-hear! A couple of critical bills just past through the House Judicial Committee and will be going up for a House vote in the next day or so, and one of them is a big mistake! 4 incredible JUSTIFIED stories will teach some really important lessons including the story of yet another pizza delivery driver that is attacked and is forced to defend himself in a gunfight. A photo of bright red blood on the ground was the result of a man who accidentally shot himself with his Taurus Judge, and because there was so much blood and it was so brightly colored, the photo “broke the Internet” as people were left skeptical that is was even a real photo to begin with. But Riley has the scoop on the true, real-life story that will blow your mind and really drives home how important tourniquets are where it comes to saving lives.

Episode 178: The Slippery Slope

By Riley Bowman / November 30, 2017

There’s a lot of talk right now about passing new gun regulation reforms, i.e., gun control. We have to be careful about how these issues are approached. Some even within our community are okay with some of these so-called “common sense” laws. We have heard people say, “What are you so afraid of? We’re not trying to take away your guns!” Today in this episode we break down why this line of thinking can be dangerous and how you can approach the issue with friends, colleagues and even family that dare venture down the slippery slope.

Episode 177b: “Good Guy With a Gun” a Myth?

By Riley Bowman / November 30, 2017

We hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Over the break there were so many new stories that we just had to talk about, we split this episode up into 2 parts. Enjoy this part 2 where we talk about the discrimination Facebook is committing by restricting and shutting down firearm related pages and ads. Also we dive into an article written by an Army veteran and gun owner that tries to reason that the whole “good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun” premise is just a myth. But we follow that right up with at least 2 JUSTIFIED stories from the last week that blow holes right through that ill-informed statement!

Episode 177a: The Liberal Gun Club

By Riley Bowman / November 28, 2017

We hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Over the break there were so many new stories that we just had to talk about, we split this episode up into 2 parts. Episode 175: Road Rage Turns Into Deadly Shooting

By Riley Bowman / November 21, 2017

Last week we told you about the war on guns that is building and is coming. This week we see skewed and biased reporting from Quinnipiac University with a poll about support for an assault weapons ban. We see so-called journalistic publications asking for donations to help them publish more content on guns, gun violence, and gun control because where it comes to gun control “we just aren’t doing enough.” We have a Republican-controlled Congress that is afraid to do anything on pro-gun legislation for fear of it not being good for “optics.” So instead they feel they must do something, and some Senators and Representatives are getting on board with “low hanging fruit of common sense regulation.” At least Michigan is doing some things right as last week the Senate passed a bill that reduces the number of “Gun Free Zones” and this week the House passed a bill for constitutional carry. Follow along, and don’t forget the powerful lessons to be learned from today’s JUSTIFIED stories.
