West Virginia Now Honoring The Montana Concealed Carry Permit

For some time now West Virginians with valid permits have been able to carry in Montana. Now, the same is true in reverse. West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said:

The Second Amendment is crucial to the foundation of our nation. This agreement solidifies the ability of West Virginians to carry concealed weapons in Montana, while also expanding that right to Montanans who visit our beautiful state.

Now, West Virginia has permitless carry laws in place that allow anyone 21 or older to carry concealed without a permit but a recognized permit is still required to carry in certain places.

Those with a Montana concealed carry permit will now have the same privileges as those with West Virginia permits.

Last we checked the West Virginia website was not updated but this change is verified and hopefully, the State Police will update this list soon.
