A recent study from the University of Illinois shows that even with Las Vegas and Orlando fresh in our minds, mass shootings are not in fact increasing in terms of frequency. We found this study to be quite interesting as well as today’s other fascinating news out of Australia as we look at the results of a national amnesty gun confiscation program that yielded far less than we’re sure they hoped for. Riley and Jacob are back from Milwaukee, Wisconsin after attending the 2017 NRA Carry Guard Expo. They talk about a number of interesting and new products they found there including an innovative speed loader for revolvers, guns that fold in half, guns that load cartridges “backwards,” and of course they talk about the newly released Gen 5 Glocks.
Many people may hear the words Fashion Show and imagine images of well dressed models demoing expensive clothing and accessories but that was far from the reality of this NRA Fashion Show.
The event is advertising that 150 exhibitors will be showcasing products and services oriented toward the every day armed citizen. There will also be a Concealed Carry Fashion Show and unlike some other industry events this is one where you can come armed. Concealed carry (within the limits of Wisconsin law) is allowed.
