Nevada Adds Reciprocity For the Mississippi Enhanced Permit

With the application of Nevada's new law, SB175, they have now began to honor the Mississippi enhanced permit. As you may recall earlier in June 2015 Nevada added reciprocity for 12 states and we predicted that a few more would slip in. Congratulations to all those who have the Mississippi permit!

Why won’t Nevada and Florida Honor the Illinois Concealed Carry License?
We have stringent training rules to follow firing a total ten rounds; Five yards, Seven yards & ten yards @ ten rounds each. We should have the opportunity to be considered!

Joseph, Illinois, Utah, Colorado, and others seem to meet the requirement for training according to SB175 and thus in my opinion should be honored in Nevada. There is another provision in SB175 that requires a state also have an electronic database of permit holders that is accessible by law enforcement officers in Nevada through a national law enforcement telecommunications system. So it is possible that Illinois and some of these other states don’t meet that second requirement or it is also possible that Nevada is slow to do the heavy lifting research to really determine which states meet both qualifications.
