Description

The Wilderness Easy-Fit LowPro EDC Belt was born out of the desire for an extremly flat and narrow buckle, while maintaining the quality and comfort standards of our Original Instructor and Frequent Flyer belts. We combine a high-grade, featherweight Delrin buckle (1.50″ or 1.25″) with our classic belt body that’s manufactured from two layers of custom-made premium webbing.

As the foundation of your everyday carry, the LowPro EDC Belt is particularly well-suited to AIWB holsters and centerline-carry of knives and magazines. However, it still works just as well for strong-side belt or IWB holsters as our classic tactical belts. The stitching reinforcement near the buckle ensures stable mounting of holsters or pouches in that position while still being pliable enough to conform to them and be comfortable.

Stuff You Should Know:

  • The belt is omnidirectional and may be worn facing either direction that suits the user’s needs.
  • Available in Black, Wolf Grey, Coyote Brown, and Ranger Green.
  • Available in our standard variety of body stiffness levels:
    • 3-Stitch (most flexible)
    • 5-stitch for more stiffness (a great balance and our most popular version)
    • Polymer-lined Combat Shooters Model/CSM (vertically rigid, best load-bearing) *Available in 1.5″ only on LowPro EDC Belts
  • Polymerized end-tab treatment eliminates fraying.
  • The LowPro EDC Belt is a 100% non-metallic, security-friendly belt made with a strong Delrin triglide buckle.
  • It is 1.5″ wide.
  • Proudly made at our production facility in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

Buckle Use Notes

The running end of the belt should be threaded through both loops of the triglide buckle for longevity. Fastening through a single loop will drastically increase the wear on the hook-and-loop due to shearing forces and make the belt less secure under extreme conditions. We advocate threading through both loops for a very secure closure that holds fast through strenuous or violent physical activity.

When cinching down the belt, hold the buckle or the other end of the belt in place while you pull on the running end with the reinforced, polymerized end tab.

Size Chart

Our standard Original Instructor, Titanium Instructor and Frequent Flyer Belts are sized by a true measured belt size to the nearest single inch, not a two-inch range or generic small, medium, large, etc. Our Sport and Easy-Fit belts have more generous sizing, but we still strongly recommend checking your actual size. We ask that you put a cloth tape through the belt loops of the pants that you would normally wear the belt with, pulling as tightly as you typically pull a belt, and measure to the nearest single inch. If you regularly wear an in-the-waistband holster and mag pouches, we recommend you place them in your pants for measuring. Ideally, the hook fastener material on the belt tab should center evenly in the loop fastener material area on the belt body. From an ideal fit you will then have 1-3/4" of adjustment in each direction. This is usually enough of an adjustment to cinch down for something heavy on the outside of the belt or loosen the belt for an in-the-waistband holster. If your I.W.B. holster is for a particularly thick gun, you may want to assume an extra inch. You can also measure by laying your leather belt out flat on a table, and measure from the inside edge of the buckle away from the hinge to the hole that you currently use. Measure to the nearest single inch as shown. It is important that the inside length of the buckle be included in the measurement. Please do not assume the size shown on your current belt is correct. It is most common for a belt size to be 2"-3" larger than a pants size. This is because a pants size is a measurement of you, while a belt size is a measurement of you with a layer of fabric (your pants) wrapped around you. If you would like any assistance in the measuring process, please feel free to call us. A quick call is easier and cheaper for everyone than a belt exchange.
