There is nothing illegal about possession or use of any magazine of any size by residents or non-residents.Connecticut: Magazines with capacity over 10 may not be brought into Connecticut except by a FFL. Existing magazines with capacity greater than 10 rounds are legal if registered with the state police before Jan 1st 2014.District of Columbia: Previous ammunition restrictions (the 20 round total) have been repealed and more currently magazine capacity limits overall has been deemed unconstitutional by courts.
