I'd like to take a moment to introduce you to the first ever Shooter Ready Challenge. Each month we'll be releasing these dry fire challenges that are designed to help you take your shooting proficiency to the next level one month and one challenge at a time.
Let's face it, going to the range can be quite expensive, and if you don't have the time to do it, your skills could slowly wither away. This is one of the reasons why all of us here at ConcealedCarry.com participate in dry fire practice in the comfort of our own homes on a regular basis. When it comes down to it, there is no better way to up your shooting game.
I'd like to invite you to join us for the Shooter Ready Challenge that will help you focus on the few, simple skills that can drive huge results for your shooting proficiency before you spend any money on your ammo. It's totally free to do each month.
At the beginning of each month, we encourage you to watch that month's video and set your practice plans for the rest of the month. And, as you do, watch yourself grow.
Each month, we will choose one winner from the pool of challenge participants who have completed the challenge, to win a very special prize. It doesn't matter if you have the fastest time, just that you took the time to complete it. This month, the person we choose to win will receive 200 rounds of ammunition from Ammo Supply Warehouse.
A disclaimer on this, is that while you can participate in the challenge, you will need LASRX software to submit and prove to us that you're participating in order to win the prize.
The reason why we've decided to use the LASR App is because this is one of the absolute best tools out there for dry fire practice. In fact, as far as we've seen, no other tool even comes close.
Another reason why we're using the LASRX is because these guys have already programmed these drills into the app. All you have to do is choose which one you want to practice, and voila. As an added bonus, there are little helps built in to show you how to do things if you need a refresher.
You don't need to use the LASR App, but it does help. And, again, you won't be able to win if you don't use it.
This first challenge is designed to help you improve your drawing to first shot skills. In the accompanying videos for each of the Shooter Ready Challenges, Riley walks the participants through various steps to help them out with the challenge.
This first one, Riley is showing off how he likes to use micro drills to help prepare for the bigger, overall drill. For example, this one is all about drawing and getting your first shot on target, but there is more to it than that. You have to practice clearing your garment, getting your hand in a combat grip on your gun, pulling the gun out of the holster, presenting to target, etc.
Sometimes, it's just easier to practice each step over and over in smaller micro drills until you get it down. Riley shows these to you in the video.
I've jabbered on long enough, and I'm sure you want to get started. You can find the first video, as well as all videos hereafter that get uploaded, at this link.
