The result of ditching cigarettes was nothing. Check the graphs on the internet. Cigarette smoking declined to almost zero over recent years. Lung cancer has not declined at all. So cigarette smoking is not harmful and we have been lied to again.

I can remember when my wife (now ex) had one of my handguns stolen from her vehicle in 1990. We reported the theft but did not have the SN, because I had owned the weapon since 1968 and the records of it were stolen in a home burglary in 1981. Several years later, I got a call from the Sheriff’s department telling me that they had found my pistol. They had traced it as being my weapon, by following the SN from the manufacturer, to the dealer and then checked the dealer’s records to find who had purchased it. Even though there is no “list” there are still ways of tracing weapons to the people who purchased them. This is why I kept bills of sales of each of the three guns I sold to individuals (including the two I passed on to my two boys). I agree that guns are NOT the problem.
