Today's episode marks a HUGE milestone for the Concealed Carry Podcast. We have now hit 200 EPISODES in a little more than 2 years!!
Join me, Riley, together with Jacob for a special episode today as we share the special interview I conducted with Alisha Ketter and Derek Cecil of Reno Guns & Range. They shared with us their personal story of being at the Mandalay Bay/Route 91 Harvest music festival shooting. As survivors of that incident and as respected firearms and defensive instructors, they share with us what they saw but more importantly what they learned from it all.

This is a very powerful interview. As per usual, Riley does an outstanding job of asking thoughtful leading questions and then sitting back and letting the person talk. From his follow up questions it is clear that he actually listened and thought about what he heard.
I commend Derek and Alisha for their actions on that fateful day. Their willingness to share their experience will, undoubtably, save many more lives in the future. I know that they have led me to re-evaluate my training schedule and to upgrade the kit I carry in my edc pack. I also ordered one of the ankle kits mentioned in the podcast. Ihave also shared this interciew with several of my shooting buddies.
