The Holster That Is Changing The Concealed Carry Industry

Holsterall1For many years now one of our Utah based instructors has been working on manufacturing a new type of concealed carry holster that he promised me would change the industry. With the number of holsters already on the market I had a hard time believing that he could truly do anything unique but he proved me wrong. This month Brandon Scott has finally made available to the public the Brave Response Holster. Here are a few things that make this holster revolutionary:

-It doesn't have to be hooked or clipped to your belt, boot, or anything. It lives on its own with a strap that goes around your body and holds it in place

-As a waist band holster it can be as shallow or as deep of concealment as you want or as your pants allow

-Its a one size fits all holster meaning that you only need to buy one and it will work for ALL your semi-automatic handguns

-It holds up to 3 spare magazines along with the gun!!!

-It takes less time to put on than any other holster I own and it conceals better without printing than any holster I own

The best part is that Brandon is offering a $10 off coupon for all my past students. Visit the product page (click here) and use coupon code BRHclass to get $10 off. The coupon will expire on January 15th, 2015 so move fast.

I recorded (well technically my 4yr old daughter did the camera work) a short video on Saturday showing the holster. Take a quick look and while you are there don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel.

What size waist will the belt fit ? Are there any other discounts or coupons available. I’m a retired Police Officer with over 30 years on the Indianapolis Police Dept.

  2. Jacob Paulsen on January 6, 2015 at 4:03 pm

Wayne, it fits a 20″ – 55″ size waist. Currently that I’m aware we are the only ones offering any discount and that is the $10 discount with the use of coupon code BRH10.

    Thank you for your service!

Is there any way the waist can be made larger

    • Jacob Paulsen on October 14, 2015 at 7:14 pm

Dennis, we do have an “extension” piece that can be added to make it fit waists larger than 54 inches. It isn’t available directly in checkout but send me an email and I can help accommodate that. su*****@us****************.com

Is this only for automatic guns or will it fit a revolver?

    • Jacob Paulsen on December 12, 2015 at 1:37 pm

It will fit all semi-automatics. It will also fit smaller and mid size revolvers. It tends to not work well with full size revolvers.

    Left or right handed draw?

    • Jacob Paulsen on December 12, 2015 at 6:10 pm

You can buy a right or left handed holster. If you are right handed you will want a right handed holster regardless of where on the body you carry and that is true for lefties also.

i’m sure it is good for what it is. I require a solid holster such as Kydex and need it to be able to reholster better (solid with a click).

I just received mine and unless i’ m missing something it’s very uncomfortable without a tee shirt and in the heat it will be even more uncomfortable. The upside is it will accommodate nearly all semiautos and have some benefit as an underarm congealment holster. Out of 5, I would give it a 2 or 2.5 at best.

*Excellent* article, and a great (and much-needed) rmdeneir! When I was young, our next-door neighbor (a grandfather) lost his granddaughter (2 years old) because she found his revolver in his night stand when he wasn’t around. I’ll never forget the endless wave of police, ambulances, etc., from that night. I despise stories like these, but they’re important to study and learn from.

A little worried that it does not have a trigger guard.

    • Jacob Paulsen on April 25, 2016 at 1:30 pm

Pete, it does. It covers the trigger guard fully and completely.

I really like your product, however there’s a few things I would change. The grips on the pistol I carry are rough. They rub my skin if I don’t wear an undershirt which isn’t comfortable. I would bring the comfortable white material on the inside up high enough to keep the grip from touching skin. The snap release needs to be about a half inch longer or adjustable with Velcro like the strap on the outside. It’s a little difficult to get my thumb that far down to release the snap. Lastly.. I would run at least a one inch strip of Velcro along the entire rear strap. I get it to where it fits comfortably then have to pull the front strap all the way to the next Velcro which makes it a little too snug. I’ve been in LE since 1990 and have tried numerous holsters and your design is one of the best I’ve ever used for concealed carry.

How do I order one ?

  13. Lewis Titus on December 29, 2017 at 9:59 am

I have been using this holster for about 2 months. I wear it around my chest, under my left arm, and usually with a tee shirt. It is the most comfortable holster I have, and the easiest to put on. It seems to be very well made and I like the fact I can also carry extra magazines or a light. I also like the fact I do not need to custom fit for every firearm I own. One holster will fit almost any semi-auto, and even some revolvers. No holster is perfect but this one is close!

What is the cost of this holster? Does a Sig Sauer P226 fit in it?

    • Jacob Paulsen on March 11, 2019 at 3:33 pm

Retail price is $70. Yes it fits the Sig P226

  15. Rick Salmans on July 15, 2020 at 5:21 pm

Will it work with a Glock 19 with a laser light?

    • Jacob Paulsen on July 16, 2020 at 7:15 am

Not if the laser is mounted on the rail in front of the trigger guard.

  16. Barbara Moorehead on July 16, 2020 at 10:05 am

Will it work on a Taurus Spectrum 380 with laser!

    • Barb Moorehead on July 16, 2020 at 10:10 am

If not where can I find one? Thank you

      For Taurus Spectrum 380

      A holster? With laser

    • Jacob Paulsen on July 16, 2020 at 10:15 am

I assume that the laser you are mounting on your Spectrum is mounted on the grip? If so it would work. However if the laser is mounted to the trigger guard then no this holster will not work.
