NRA Annual Meetings 2019: What You Missed

I'm happy to say that the NRA Annual Meetings, 2019 is a wrap. We are all home safely and had a great time. Regardless of what you think about the NRA, this was a good event.

Of course, the organization seems to be struggling right now, and I'll hold my personal opinions on the NRA to myself for now. But, one thing I think all of us in attendance can agree on, is being in the presence of like-minded people is great.

And, getting the chance to put my hands on so many guns is even better.

What I want to do for my wrap article this year, is showcase some of the videos we recorded while there. And, when I say “we” I'm not talking about myself. I'm really not that good with a video camera and have barred myself from recording.

However, Annette and Riley were out in force, and here are a few cherry picked videos for you to check out:

In this one, you get to see the guys who make the Life Card, which is that little folding gun with a single shot .22lr or .22wmr. Oh, and I make a small guest appearance here. Check it out–

Annette shows off one of her favorite companies and shooting sponsors, Gray Guns in this next video. She shows off some very interesting upgrades to the popular SIG Sauer P365. I'm not sure how that little gun could get much better, but Gray Guns seems to have pulled it off. Check it out–

Here we are with our good friends from Honor Defense. Turns out that I'm only about 2.5 hours from their facility, and I'm going to try to get a factory tour. Check out the video–

If you've ever seen any of Riley's SHOP Talk videos, then you know he's a big fan of the Cool Fire Trainer, which is a dry fire training tool. He's showing it off in this video, and he does a video bomb (is that even a thing?) on Seeklander. Check out the video–

One of the bigger releases this year for the NRAAM 2019 is the new APX Carry from Beretta. Here, Annette does a great interview with their pistol product manager, Erik. I have every intention of getting one of these for us to do a review on. Check out the video, here–

This next video is something that Riley holds near to his heart, and that's mental health. Here is his interview with Michael Sodini of Walk The Talk America.

Here at the Hiperfire booth was a simulator where Riley wouldn't quit until he beat Jacob's score. I'll just leave it at that. Check out the video, here–

Finally, here is a show wrap up with Riley as the show floor was closing up. Check out the video, here–

As they say, folks, that's a wrap. It was a great time and we'll likely be back again next year in Nashville, TN. Also, make sure you stay tuned for the Concealed Carry Expo in just a few short weeks.

That'll be taking place in Pittsburgh, PA and we'll be broadcasting live from that show. More details to come and as always, thanks for tuning in.
