The Ruger LC9 has always been among the most popular compact firearms for concealed carry. A few years ago Ruger released the LC9s. This new take on one of America's favorites is making a lot of people reconsider this gun. Shorter and easier trigger pull among other small changes.
The only problem with the gun is the weak mag release spring. Thank gawd the LC9S Pro does not have the mag lockout (that’s what I call it…when there’s no mag you can still fire the chambered round). Every time it’s holstered the weak mag release drops the mag. Highly irritating!

I have never had this problem with my lc9s I wonder if it is caused by your holster.
