The new release coming out of Sig Sauer should leave fans of their X Series of pistols running for their wallets. The P320 XCompact comes with all the same features of the original X Series of pistols produced by Sig:
The well-loved flat trigger, the X-RAY3 sights, and the rear sight plate assembly to allow the mounting of optics.
The weapon has a smaller foot print for easier concealability with a barrel length of 3.6 inches, down from the previous 3.9 inches of the X-Carry.
The grip has been completely redesigned from the ground up, utilizing feedback from users about what they’d like to see changed.
This redesign puts the magazine capacity at a familiar 15 rounds. Other points of the grip have been adjusted to further improve the overall ergonomics of the pistol including a more pronounced beaver tail that is 1911-esque.
The theory of design behind the pistol is to offer more fire power then a sub-compact or pocket pistol and better concealability then a full-size handgun.
