Are gun owners “potentially violent?” Could be, but my guess is that the author of the above-mentioned head and corresponding article actually just wants guns to be confiscated. Because, once it’s all said and done, we are all “potentially violent,” as we are all human beings.

This month The Daily Show presented some research and thoughts to suggest that despite the cry from gun supporters, the truth is that Good Guys virtually never stop Bad Guys with guns or that Good Guys are not even generally capable or qualified to do so.
