Home Burglaries Turned Robberies and Violent Crimes [Infographic]

I don't have to do any research to know that home invasions take place all the time. Each week in The Concealed Carry Podcast we review a number of stories where homeowners successfully defend themselves from criminals and those stories we review are a very small number of all the incidents that take place each week.

All the same, sometimes it is easier to communicate the message with some real credible stats and some nice graphics. What follows is an infographic designed to be read much like a story that illustrates the level of threat that exists in this country.

Regardless if you are a homeowner or not you need to be thinking about what you are doing to reduce your risk and how you will deal with the threat should then overcome your physical security and enter the home.

Please take a moment to read the below numbers and really let it sink in. Consider sharing this with friends and family via the social networks!

For less than $10 you can get our new DVD about combatting home invasions both by fortifying your entry points as well as having a prepared and sound tactical armed response. Click here to learn more about our Door Ambush DVD!

If you need your gun, and now. And it’s in a safe. Not going to help you any. Just facts.

Most people that have a gun, have more than one. You can have one on you and the rest in the safe. If you have kids, any gun that is not on your person needs to be locked where they can not get it. No amount of teaching is going to guarantee that your kid wont get curious and try to play with them.
