Wisconsin Will Only Honor South Dakota Enhanced Permit

Wisconsin reciprocity changesTwo days ago we published a reciprocity update about Wisconsin adding 5 new states to the list of states whose permits will be honored in Wisconsin. They have now taken a step back to clarify that they will only be honoring the Enhanced permits from South Dakota and not all South Dakota permits as we originally suggested.

So for all you standard permit holders from South Dakota who had were so excited we are sorry to disappoint. If you travel often to Wisconsin you should consider obtaining the enhanced permit.

At ConcealedCarry.com we are committed to keeping you up to date with all Concealed carry permit reciprocity changes. You can access a current map for your own state's permit or your own combination of state permits here: Concealed Carry Reciprocity Maps

Also finger printing and a more extensive back ground check and another form state ID along with range time with 99 rounds fired. This costs up to several hundred dollars.

Sounds like a good reason to boycott Wisconson with both travel and goods.
