Alaska Changes Policy on Honoring the Idaho Permit

alaska permit reciprocity

On occasion even I don't have any idea how some states come up with their reciprocity policies.

The Alaska statues seem to clearly state that they will honor any concealed carry permit issued to anyone 21 yrs of age or older. All that said, according to a few industry websites; and more importantly according to the Idaho state website; Alaska is now only honoring the Idaho Enhanced Permit.

So there you have it.

At ConcealedCarry.com we are committed to keeping you up to date with all Concealed carry permit reciprocity changes. You can access a current map for your own state's permit or your own combination of state permits here: Concealed Carry Reciprocity Maps
