Utah House Passes Lowering Age of Concealed Carry Applicants
This week a Republican freshman legislator from Clearfield Karianne Lisonbee introduced a bill that would lower the age of applying for a concealed carry permit from 21 to 18 in the state of Utah. She says the idea for her bill, HB 198, was brought to her by a group of young women who want to defend themselves from rape.

South Carolina Will Now Honor Enhanced Permits From Mississippi
South Carolina has decided that the Enhanced permits from Mississippi meet their requirements and thus these permit holders will now be recognized and able to carry concealed in South Carolina.
This is a welcome change for Mississippi permit holders and increases the value and incentive of taking the necessary class to get the enhanced state permit!
