S&W M&P M2.0 Subcompact Pistol

I feel like every time I check my email I've got a new press release in there announcing a new subcompact pistol. This time, Smith & Wesson announced their M&P 2.0 Subcompact. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining.

When SIG released the game changing 365 a couple years ago, I figured that other companies would be jumping on the wagon to get a slice of that higher capacity, subcompact pie.

The new S&W pistol is actually available in the big three semi-auto calibers, 9mm, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. The 9mm model comes with 12+1 capacity and ships with two mags and two extension sleeves. Here are more features, taken from Smith's website:

• Low barrel bore axis makes the M&P pistol comfortable to shoot reducing muzzle rise and allowing for faster aim recovery.
• Optimal 18-degree grip angle for natural point of aim.
• Four interchangeable palmswell grip inserts for optimal hand fit and trigger reach – S, M, ML, L.
• Aggressive grip texture for enhanced control.
• M&P® M2.0™ crisp trigger with lighter trigger pull.
• Tactile and audible trigger reset.
• Accurate 1 in 10” twist M&P M2.0 barrel.
• Extended rigid embedded stainless steel chassis to reduce flex and torque when firing.
• Armornite® durable corrosion resistant finish.

    I love S&W, esp the M&P line…
But… the Hellcat wins this subcompact battle for me.

I just purchased the MP 2.0 subcompact 9mm. It’s a perfect CC weapon. Stock sites, trigger and accuracy is top notch in my opinion. This subcompact has minimal recoil. I have large hands and it fits very comfortably in my hands. 12 + 1 is good but it’s also capable of using the larger MP 2 magazines while still providing ultimate concealment. This weapon is now my everyday choice, hands down.
