This survival blanket is especially low-weight and low bulk. It is made if heat-reflective thin plastic sheeting. The design reduces heat loss in the body which makes them fantastic for emergency situations.

It is waterproof and windproof.

Perfect to help prevent or counter hypothermia. Being airtight it reduces convection, reduces heat loss caused by evaporation, and to a limited extent limits losses of heat caused by thermal radiation.

These blankets have a myriad of other fantastic survival applications in signaling, shelter building, and in a pinch can even be fashioned into a sling, bandage or tourniquet.
