You May Never Learn This From Your Range or Instructor
Even though your home is recognized industry-wide as the place where you are most likely to use your firearm in self-defense; it remains an environment that presents challenges that are difficult to train and prepare for. Local gun ranges and destination firearm training academies rarely have any home defense related courses since the environment is hard to build and train in with live fire ammunition.
Even if you do find a course there is the expense of paying for you, your spouse, and other adults in your family to attend, and the challenge in remembering all the content well enough to come home and put it into action in your own home. While this course can never replace live in-person training; it does allow you to take your time, rewind and review material, and view it with every adult member of your household at no extra cost!

Jeff Wolinsky (verified owner) –
A very well done course. This is a must have for anyone new to firearms and their use for self defense. Even if you have been around firearms for a while, there is still a lot of very useful information in the course. I particularly got a lot out of the scenarios and things to consider before something happens.

Have gone through most of the lessons fairly quickly to get a flavor of the instruction. I will now repeat the lessons in a more methodical fashion. As a relatively new gun owner I find the course full of useful information. The lessons are presented in bite size segments so as not to overwhelm you. I like that there are links to the products mentioned in the lessons. I was initially shipped the wrong DVD and did not have online access. Customer service was quick to take care of the problem and allowed me to keep the DVD that was shipped in error. Overall an excellent experience.
