Description

Welcome to the ConcealedCarry.com online Shooting Fundamentals video course. This course is perfect for every gun owner no matter your level of experience. The best practices relating to grip, stance, etc have seen significant shifts over the years. Are you sure your skills are in line with the best practices?

This training course is 100% virtual and can be completed from any internet-connected device.

The word “Fundamentals” might seem like it is beneath an experienced shooter but experience has shown us that virtually every gun owner has serious deficiencies relating to the core fundamentals. Frankly, also consider that the fundamental shooting skills are the only shooting skills. Master-class and professional shooters don't learn fancy or advanced shooting skills. They are masters of the fundamentals.

This course of 10 unique video lessons is laid out as follows:

  1. Introduction to the Fundamentals
  2. Confirming Sight-in of Your Handgun
  3. Principles of Grip
  4. Grip Continued – Arm Positioning
  5. Principles of Vision and Aiming (Sight Picture)
  6. Different Types of Sight Picture Refinement
  7. Principles of Trigger Manipulation
  8. Using the Stoplight Analogy for Better Aiming and Trigger Manipulation
  9. Principles of Recoil Management
  10. Addressing Common Shooting Errors

The course is fully close-captioned for the hearing impaired.

This course is a part of the Guardian University curriculum and is free to all active members of Guardian Nation.

Very good presentation covering pertinent details regarding basic shooting fundamentals. Riley does a great job explaining each segment and does so in a manner that is not overly technical nor is it mundane. He does cover some information about why a person might be experiencing certain problems when shooting.
