I bought a fifty pack. These are similar to another unit on the market, but the primer area contains plastic as well to allow the firing pin to strike something soft. Six units had open holes in the primer area and one was not completely filled. Another issue I found is that a few units need to have the plastic “bullet” reset back into the shell after a number of strikes due to the firing pin pushing the plastic unit out.

Wu, thank you for taking my phone call today and sorry about the issues you have experienced. I’m shipping you replacements now. I’m confident that there was a Quality Control issue with the batch that you received and we will work closely with the manufacturer to address those concerns for the future!

I would have to echo Wu. I bought 2-5 packs and one round had an open hole in the plastic mold right where the striker strikes it. It doesn’t seem to cause any issues yet but I’m sure that round is not going to last as long as the others. So it sounds like about 10% of their rounds will have that issue. They also don’t eject as far as a snap cap does and the ejection point is more to the front right as opposed to straight out of the side of the gun as a snap cap does.(that is out of an xd mod.2 subcompact) I’m still getting used to these and will have to see how long they last.

I use these for failure to fire drills during live fire. They serve my needs well. They are also great jerk detectors when you don’t know when they’re coming.

    Works well.

  6. Edmund Hayes (verified owner)

No problems, work perfectly fine. Mine all have the soft plastic piece in the hammer strike area.
Would buy again and would recommend them to anyone.

I purchased the five dummys rounds an receive them in pretty good time. They are exactly what i wanted an there working fine. Would purcase a gain from concealed carry. Thank you for your service

  8. Trevor (verified owner)

These snap caps do not chamber smoothly like a real round or other brands of snap caps and also do not eject from my Glock 43x 90% of the time. These snap caps look cool, but I cannot recommend them to anyone and they are currently in my trash can.

First, I would like to refund you for your purchase. We don’t expect people to pay for something that won’t work for them. Secondly, if you can retrieve them from the trash can I would pay to have them ship backed to us so we can check them. I need to understand why they aren’t working for you. If that is too much work, could you potentially take a few pictures of them for me? We use once fired brass shell casings in the manufacturing process so I don’t know why/how they could fail to chamber or extract from the chamber. We’ve never had a report of that happening before.
