Description
If you need a tourniquet, you need it right now. The Wilderness Tactical PDQ-TQ Tourniquet Belt Pouch is built on Wilderness’s magazine pouch design, so your flat-folded TQ is held in place by friction instead of a flap or retention strap. Grab it and it comes out.
How it holds your tourniquet
The pouch is built in layers: a polymer stiffener on the inside for retention pressure, a thin layer of closed-cell foam facing the tourniquet, and a tough 1000D Cordura outer shell. That combination grips the TQ firmly without anything you have to unsnap first.
The fit is best with the SOF-T (formerly SOFTT-W), TK4-L, and SWAT-T. A CAT carries securely too, but because its windlass sits in the middle it tends to shift a little off-center in the pouch. That’s cosmetic only and doesn’t affect how it works.
Wraparound belt loop
The loop fits belts up to 2″ wide, including duty belts, and wraps around the belt so you can put the pouch on or take it off without removing your holster or anything else.
Good to know
- The pouch arrives pressed closed. Leave your tourniquet in it for a few days and it will form to that specific TQ.
- Once it’s sized to a larger tourniquet, it will likely be too loose for a smaller one, so pick the TQ you plan to carry and stick with it.
