Gideon Optics SHOT Show 2026 | New Pebble Micro Dot & Valor Enclosed RMR Optic

At SHOT Show 2026, Mike from Gideon Optics walks us through two brand-new pistol red dots launching this year — built with concealed carriers and real-world use in mind.

First up is the Gideon Pebble, a tiny direct-mount optic designed specifically for the Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0. Instead of expensive or sketchy slide milling, the Pebble mounts via a rear-sight dovetail system, keeping the pistol smooth, pocket-carry friendly, and snag-free. It features a side-loading battery tray, shake-awake, brightness lock, and is available in both red and green — with green favored by shooters dealing with astigmatism. The Pebble is officially live now at $219 and debuted at SHOT Show.

Mike also previews the upcoming Gideon Valor (full-size) — a fully enclosed pistol optic using the RMR footprint. Designed with a large window and a concealment-friendly housing, the Valor uses standard top-mount screws and avoids proprietary mounting systems. While pricing and availability are still being finalized, it’s expected to launch soon.
