A pretty significant change here in Hawaii is LEOSA. For the first time, ever are there people besides civilian police officers carrying concealed in this state. Ones first thoughts may be “same thing, LEOSA cardholders are cops too,” however when it comes to concealed carry most military have little to no experience. Other points I thought worth sharing is the local police departments are most definetly NOT aware and educated on LEOSA and the fact that there are many of us carrying concealed every day. My many attempts to get LEOSA cardholders and the local PD for training, guidance etc have been met with silence. Anyway, thank-you for all that you do, your resources have helped this new CCW’r in so many ways.
