Our SHOP Talk episodes are ever increasing in popularity as Riley Bowman goes live from our headquarters in Denver, Colorado and shows everyone some cool things that we've got going on, some sort of training, or whatever else he thinks is worth talking about.
None of us ever know, it is totally unscripted, and that's part of the fun and why people enjoy it so much.
On this episode of SHOP Talk, it's all about traveling across state lines with your guns. What do you need to know? Do you know how to store your firearms when you travel through a state that would rather see you in jail than allow you to protect yourself from harm?
Riley goes into depth on FOPA, or the Firearm Owner Protection Act and how to travel across state lines, as well as some of the more specific things you should know about firearm laws and traveling with your gun.
Here is the latest SHOP Talk with Riley episode:
Here are some of the tools he mentioned in this episode:
One thing is for sure, whenever you are traveling with your gun you should know the laws in the states in which you're traveling to, or traveling through. With the current landscape that our precious gun industry is in, with some states criminalizing what would be totally legal in your home state, you must stack as much in your favor as you possibly can.
The Concealed Carry App is a free download, and something we get compliments on all the time. There are reciprocity maps, guns laws by state, and it's very intuitive.
And of course, the big deal for the week is the Legal Boundaries By State Ebook that we put together very recently which usually retails for $9.99. It is currently discounted down to just $2.23 (yes, we chose that number, 223, on purpose).
At the very least, you should go download the app. You'll be glad you did.
